Using Essential Oils for Happy Baby & Happy Mommy (30th Nov 2014)

Having been treated of her lifelong nasal and sinus problems with pure essential oils, Jennifer has also been using essential oils on her baby boy since infancy. Instead of using chemically-laden baby care products, she uses pure nature's gift when bathing her baby, for common issues like diaper rash, cough, stuffy nose, colic or sleeping difficulties.

Many moms buy eucalyptus oil for their baby. Here's what Jen says about it, 'Don't expose baby to any neat essential oil, and please do not massage your baby with any eucalyptus blend. Too close to the nose, eucalyptus oil may trigger cough, or choking response. ' Why not learn from the expert on how you and your family can benefit from using essential oils.

Cooking Classes for Moms (in collaboration with Happikiddo, Cittamall)

Do you know that? From birth to age 2, your baby’s brain will triple in volume. During this period, your baby uses more than 50% of his nutrition intake for brain development. This means that early nutrition has a HUGE impact on how brain cells develop.

Jennifer Lee (certified nutritionist, mom) is organizing classes to teach you about preparing healthy foods for little foodies ages 6months to 2 year old using fresh and healthy ingredients. Jen will teach you tips and ideas about preparing healthy but easy recipes for babies and toddlers including ways to introduce a variety of textures and flavors as well as ways to prepare them when travelling. Join us for an interactive class and demo, comes with stories to share and questions to ask. We strive to make your lives easier and meal times for the little foodies less stressful.

Jen will also be discussing about a much-anticipated topic, especially by those moms with babies starting solid soon – BLW (baby led weaning). Being a mom of a toddler boy who started solid using the BLW way, she’s the best person to share with you the wonders of BLW. Children who learn to self-feed earlier feel more in control of their eating experiences and are more likely to develop positive associations with mealtimes. Allowing babies to self-feed improves their physical skills, such as their sensory and motor development, and just might be the best insurance against future picky eating.

All are welcome- moms, dads, nannies, caregivers, grandparents! Anyone who wants to help raise a healthy and happy baby.

This page will always UPDATE with new info on Jen's cooking class. Her latest upcoming class is going to be held in Petaling Jaya, Selangor in November 2014.
